Alyce Designs – Based outside of Chicago, IL, Alyce Designs Inc., is a 40-year-old, family-owned manufacturer of women’s eveningwear. Alyce Hamm, a native of Alsace-Lorraine, France, opened Alyce Designs in 1967 with her brother Jean-Paul Hamm, the company’s President and C.E.O. In 1955, Alyce emigrated from Paris to the United States, where she trained as a costume designer at the prestigious Paris Ecole de Couture.
