My fiance and I bought a house last June and decided to host a holiday party with our friends. We called our gathering "Our First Annual Holiday Ho-Down!" We had a flannel theme that even our dog participated in with her kids size flanned pj's (a hole was cut in for her tail of course)! Everyone gathered for a night of eating, drinking, playing games and good conversation. The house was perfect with holiday decorations and lights to put a sparkle in everyone's holiday. My fiance gathered everyone together and gave a toast to thank everyone for coming. Then, he began his proposal by thanking me for doing such a great job decorating the house as he reached into the drawer to pull out the ring box. He told me of how I made him a better person and of course his love for me and wanting to spend the rest of his life with me. It was amazing and it couldn't have been any more perfect than sharing it with our friends in our new home. It was unforgettable down to my own flannel pj's and his elf hat with the big ol' ears! :)
